Community Partnerships
Community Partnerships are imperative to reaching out into the community and providing resources at the local level.

Goals:
-To prevent initiation of tobacco among young people
-Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke
-Promote cessation among adults and young people who use tobacco
-Identify and eliminate disparities-related tobacco use and its effects among different population groups

Our Community Partners are a vital link to a healthier Louisiana.


LCTP 2008 GRANTS NOW AVAILABLE

The Tobacco Control Program has a total of $300,000 in funding that will be used to make nine grant awards. Individual grants will range from $30,000 to $35,000 and will be awarded to non-profit or community organizations which are selected to help aid their community with smoking cessation.
